The love of beauty is universal, regardless of gender or age. Knowing how to take care of your skin can remove signs of aging and make you look ten years younger.
Thorough Cleaning
Keeping the skin clean is the key to skin care, but avoiding "overdoing" it is just as important. If you use water that is too hot or bathe for too long, the surface oils on your skin will be washed away, which causes the development of wrinkles. So the use of lukewarm water is recommended, bathe for no more than 10 minutes, and avoid vigorous scrubbing. When choosing cleansing products for your face and when bathing, choose a mild lotion and cream products with a high degree of moisturisers. Common cleansing products with a lot of lather may not be the ideal option in view of their strong cleaning power. You might also consider using bath products on areas where you sweat easily, and only warm water everywhere else.
Sun Block and Nourishment
Scorching sunlight is a major threat to the skin. Remember to apply sunscreen 20 minutes before going out to protect yourself from UVA and UVB rays or wear a hat or use an umbrella to shield against ultraviolet radiation. As we age, the body produces less ossein, collagen and skin moisture and loses them more easily. Special nourishment and moisturising are therefore a must – apply sufficient cream in the morning, the evening and after a bath. Additionally choose a moisturising cream with no perfuming agents and artificial pigments. Also, since the thickness of skin is different on the body and face, don't use the same cream for both. When choosing a cream or moisturiser, keep in mind that olive oil contains vitamins A, D, E and natural antioxidants, so it is one of the best anti-wrinkle moisturisers available.
