Enhanced Long Lease Incentive Program
- Eligible applicants:
- Long Lease Wait-listing Person (non-tenant)
- Existing Short Lease Tenant; and
- Existing Long Lease Tenant (Only applicable to change of unit)
- Period:
- Lease Commencement Date must fall on or before 31 March 2026
- Program Highlights:
- To sign a 24-month fixed term lease agreement
- Paying a fixed monthly rent on time during the 24 months tenancy
- During the tenancy, tenant can apply conversion to Long Lease at any time. The amount of Entry Contribution payable under the Long Lease shall be determined by the age of the tenant (i.e. younger tenant of joint tenants) as at the date of submitting the Conversion Notice and the prevailing level of Entry Contribution as prescribed by Hong Kong Housing Society
- Subject to the tenant’s due performance and comply with all the stipulated terms and conditions in the tenancy agreement and house rules & regulations, tenant can exercise the option to renew for a further term of 24-month fixed term at the rental determined and newly published by Hong Kong Housing Society. Tenant can provide a written notice of his/her intention to the landlord not less than 6 months before the expiration of the lease
- Applicable unit types:
- Studio, 1-bedroom (with storeroom) and 2-bedroom (without storeroom)
